The Clyde dam is on my doorstep, I swim in Lake Dunstan. Growing up I watched the building of the dam in the 1980's and witnessed the changing landscape. Cromwell was destroyed, and then rebuilt. Upon returning to live in this district in 2004 after travelling for 10 years I had to address the changes that had happened here in my work.
